Building a WhatsApp CRM for Saudi Businesses
NAQRH turns an already-informal WhatsApp customer channel into structured CRM data, without disrupting the conversational flow customers expect.
The channel already existed — the structure didn't
Many small and mid-size businesses already run customer communication through WhatsApp informally — answering questions, sharing offers, taking feedback — with no structured record of any of it and no dashboard for an owner to see what's happening across branches. NAQRH's starting point wasn't introducing a new channel; it was adding structure and CRM tracking to a channel customers were already comfortable using.
QR-based onboarding as the entry point
Businesses connect to NAQRH via a QR code, which becomes the entry point for customers into the CRM-tracked WhatsApp relationship — feedback, promotions, and digital menus or offers all flow through that same connected number, rather than requiring customers to install a separate app.
Structuring conversation without breaking it
The core engineering problem is turning an unstructured channel into trackable records — customer identity, feedback, campaign engagement — without making the conversation feel like filling out a form. The backend (Node.js, Express, MongoDB) models customers, branches, and campaigns underneath the conversation, while the WhatsApp side stays a normal chat experience. Role-based dashboards then give business owners and staff visibility into engagement and campaign performance that a raw WhatsApp thread never provided.
